Chilling out at the New York Coffee & Tea Festival

Right now I am sitting in my bathrobe, typing at the computer and occasionally petting the little white cat that is asleep on my lap.  It’s also a touch quiet in the world of weird right now, so today I thought I would bring you something a little cozier; New York’s Coffee and Tea Festival.

This year marks the 8th year that Coffee and Tea Festival has been running.  Beverage enthusiasts gather for this epic weekend event that will have you buzzing as 60 exhibitors from around the world pass out samples of delicious black gold. This festival is one of the most popular in the State, especially this year as it was selected as one of the “10 Best New York Events”.  Attended by over 5,000 people, the Coffee and Tea Festival keeps the masses returning each year, and for good reason; not only is there a wide selection of the finest world teas and coffees, but the first 1,500 who walk through the door are awarded a swanky prize bag of caffeine goodies!  Exhibitors this year will include Runa, Bunn, Illy, Roast and many more.  For a full list of exhibitors, click Here.

What can you expect at this year’s Coffee and Tea Festival?  There will be a series of seminars covering topics ranging from how coffee is made, how to brew a perfect cup, starting a business, world coffee ceremonies and others.  For a full schedule of Free Seminars click Here.  The festival also works with the Cup for Education Charity, which helps to build schools in the rural coffee communities in Central and Latin America.

Like last year, this year’s NYC Coffee and Tea Festival has sold out.  Sorry kids!  Make sure you start next year off right and get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.  For more information on the festival, check out the Official Website.  The Coffee and Tea Festival also runs in Atlantic City (date TBA).
